Description

The rugged UV-PRO is the premier analog VHF/UHF handheld from BTech.

This radio features:

• UV-PRO APP-CONNECTED HANDHELD – Pair with the BTECH UV app for fast setup, channel management, and group coordination. Share or live-edit channel plans and keep multiple radios aligned without repeating menu changes on every device.
• FCC PART 90 PLMR + AMATEUR USE – Dual-band VHF/UHF capability for licensed users; monitor and transmit on VHF/UHF systems when programmed for your authorized channels and use case.
• BLUETOOTH HFP + DATA MODES – Supports Bluetooth HFP audio for hands-free listening with compatible devices, plus Bluetooth data support for KISS TNC workflows where enabled.
• COMPATIBLE BLUETOOTH AUDIO + PTT OPTIONS — Supports Bluetooth HFP audio with compatible headsets and earbuds, plus compatible BTECH Bluetooth speaker-mic and PTT accessories. VOX or a supported PTT accessory can enable transmit control. Device, firmware, range, and operating-position compatibility still apply.
• GPS + LOCATION SHARING (APP + RADIO) – Built-in GPS with location tools and sharing between the radio and app (radio<-> app) for better coordination during events, field work, and off-grid activities.
• APRS + SMART BEACON FEATURES – APRS tools for tracking and messaging workflows, including smart beaconing options and improved packet handling in current firmware.
• IP67 DUST/WATER PROTECTION – Rugged build designed for wet, dusty, and rough environments with IP67 dust-tight and water resistance (up to 1m for 30 minutes).
• 108–136 MHz AM AIRBAND RECEIVE-ONLY + NOAA ALERTS + RAPID SCAN – Monitor 108–136 MHz AM airband receive-only and NOAA alerts; use Frequency Sync Rapid Scanning to quickly locate nearby active traffic and lock in frequencies faster on-site. Airband transmit is not supported.
